PINNACLE GRILLE SET TO OPEN IN JANUARY 2010

Larry Kordower Returns To Pinnacle Peak to Open New Eatery

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona, January 8, 2010 – When Larry Kordower opened Pizza Peak in 1990, he could not have envisioned how developed the Pinnacle Peak area would be in 2010. Before the days of franchised restaurants and grocery store chains, Pizza Peak stood nestled in a quiet shopping center on the corner of Pinnacle Peak and Pima Rd. Owning the only pizza place in the small upscale community, Larry quickly realized that the combination of delicious food and personalized service would be the key to his success. After selling Pizza Peak in 2003, Larry is set to open a new restaurant concept, Pinnacle Grille, across the street from Pinnacle Peak itself on Alma School and Jomax Road.

Following the sale of Pizza Peak, Larry worked for several large restaurant and nightclub establishments in Orange County, California. There he picked up new culinary ideas that he intends to incorporate in the Pinnacle Grille menu. Salads, topped with fresh fruits, nuts and cheeses will please any healthy eater’s palate. For those who like American fare, a variety of grilled hamburgers and sandwiches will be available. Diners will be able to build their order from the bun or bread up. A large assortment of soups and sides, such as wedge-cut and sweet potato fries will also be offered. Flavorsome vegetarian dishes will delight even the most selective taste buds. Kids will agree that the grilled cheese, chicken tenders, chocolate milk, fish filet on a bun, and peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches (with or without crusts) rival Mom’s homemade cooking. Flexibility with the menu is just one example of Pinnacle Grille’s unique environment. There will be no spilt charges, so if a small group wants to share a Pinnacle Salad – which features a mix of spring lettuce, walnuts, strawberries, mandarin oranges, goat cheese, served with mango vinaigrette – they can.

Sports lovers will enjoy watching football, basketball, and baseball games on any one of the large, flat-screen televisions, and a large assortment of bottle and tap beers will be offered. Frequent coupon mailings will offer customer’s savings that they can appreciate. Larry understands the importance of providing diners a menu with plenty of options that will not break the bank.

Growing up in Queens, New York, Larry learned early on the correlation between eating tasty food and spending quality time with family. “My intention is to make the atmosphere such so that all people feel like they are treated like family at Pinnacle Grille,” Larry said. “I want customers to make it their local dining spot where they can sit together, eat delicious food, and just talk.” A large, inviting patio is the perfect place to watch a spectacular Arizona sunset and enjoy a glass of wine with friends.

Pinnacle Grille will open in January 2010. Spacious booths and tables adorn the front dining area, and a large room in the rear of the restaurant will be available for private parties. For more information about Pinnacle Grille call (480) 515-3500 or email pinnaclegrille@yahoo.com.
